Welcoming Concert May 2009 has finally ended !

To me,
To all committees,
To all VIPs ,
To all freshies,

This event is a great success !!


What makes this Welcoming Concert so special, or unique

Is because the whole event is like a drama.
AND WE HAVE FRESHIES PERFORMING FOR US !

Throughout the drama , we bring our performances like
singing, acting , dancing and even 乱打

And guess what ??
We even have a special performance from FIREMAN !

I love the crowd on that day, the response from all audience were so good !
They were giving us all the support!

The event went on unexpectedly smooth,
the performances is undoubtedly good.

We have Kean Chye "Da Nai Li Hom",
Yon Lynn 's lovely voice and Yee Xin's powerful voice,
We have talented actors like Sudhan, Yoke Fong, Orange and Jordi
And we have great dancers like K-Tank =P


WE OWN THAT NIGHT !!

Guess what , I received numerous SMS complimenting our event.
However , I received this e-mail right after the event , read this.

Congratulations... the concert just now was so successful and fantastic... my fellow friends and me decided and wish to organize such activities for our junior next time also... we were really enjoyed the concert just now... all the committees sure pay full hard on it right? we sincerely appreciate it~ in this opportunity, i am here to thank all the committees and people involved... THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!! see you... maybe...

Yes , my committee members are all new,
I would say only 1 or 2 are experienced.

Food Trip - Muar - II

Let's continue with the 2nd part.

After going to 相亲, we went to eat 15 Wan Tan .


I think what makes this Wan Tan so special is because they mix 芝麻(sesame bean?) with it.

Then we went for Ikan Bakar and Sotong.

The sotong was nice , the ikan bakar was Ok la .. At that time , we are already forcing ourselves to finish up all the food , we're super full !!

Guess what , the 2nd day when we were awake , I still feel that there's food inside my stomach yet to be digested , so you can imagine how full we were..


Went to try their Bak Kut Teh as well..
To me , I personally feel that Klang Bak Kut Teh is a lot better , maybe because the taste of the soup at Klang is much thicker and nicer..haha..

And here is our last stop , went to one small stall . It's opened by Thai People .

I think this would be the specialty of this stall.
It's Tom Yam Mee Hon Kueh ( 面粉糕) . The tomyam is delicious .

Food Trip - Muar

Had a one day trip at Muar yesterday. Gonna upload a lot a lot of pictures of the food taken. And it'll take some time to load everything.

In a few hours time , I have tried a lot of kinds of food at there , we were so so freaking full at that time .

We first went to a rojak stall near to his place.

The rojak is Ok Ok la , a bit salty , but overall is not bad.


Their Chee Cheong Fun (猪肠粉) is very very nice .


Nothing much to comment about this ABC .

Only cost RM8 for the whole thing.

We then move on to eat Tong Shui.

绿豆汤

RM 2 for each.

After that will be the Wan Tan Mee. Nothing really special about this Wan Tan Mee , the mee , the char siew , the soup isn't that bad.



This is one special satay that you must try.


The left one is "Si Ham" , middle one is Chicken , the right is Pork . The pork satay is very nice.


Now let me show you the one food is I give 10 / 10 when I tried it .
Usually 虾面 "Prawn Mee ??" is served with soup , this one is fried. Let me show you.



With the size like this , is RM 3 only.
This one you really must try , a person like me who don't like eating mee will like this a lot , I think if I wasn't half full at that time I will order a big one.

We were a quite full already , so we have a short break at Tanjung to find my

" brothers and sisters" .

The monkeys are damn naughty . There is one uncle selling some tidbits things like that , the monkeys just took it away when the uncle is not noticing , damn funny man .

Have a short walk at the beach after that.

Let's move on with the food I have tried.

I would say that this is a very interesting , look at the structure.



This is the place where last time they go for 相亲 ( dunno what do you call it in english ) .



Guess what , this is a western food shop !





I know by looking at the photos don't really makes you wanna try it ,
I had that feeling too .
But I was so wrong , the beef taste so nice , the orange juice is so original ! I think they didn't use those juice maker machine to do it , they use the old way to get the juice , it's so nice !

以前很熟悉的一句话，已经好久没有人这样讲我了，最近好像又听到了。。

对我而言，好胜不是我的错，也不是一个错。。
我觉得这反而是一种优点。

怕输 与 好胜
是不一样的

怕输-输了不甘愿，往往会把责任推给别人，不要求进步

好胜-心里想的是要赢，要胜。可是即使输了，可能心里有点不服，可是还会继续努力

拥有这种心态
你会让自己更努力
更要去进步
更要学习新东西
更要比别人好
往往学习速度会比一般来得快
来得更出色

但是
这种心态如果去到极端
又有一定的反效果
你会觉得自己是天下第一
比别人出色
想要到处去炫耀
鼻子往往是向上挺的
到哪里都觉得自己是头
大家都要服他

我看啊。。
这个人永远还是停留在那一个阶段
即使上天给你
多么厉害
多么出色
的头脑
我觉得那个人还是一样
烂


当然，无可否认
我陈源汉是超级好胜的，什么东西都要抢第一
从以前小学，中学，到大学也还是一样
可能这个心态造就今天的我
现在跟我住同一家的，跟我也差不了多远
可能这就是为什么大家相处得还不错，哈哈。。

大家都超级HaoLian
有时不能顶，听惯了也不觉得是什么了
要搬去Setapak了，少了这些人，可能会有点不惯
因为少了一些值得跟我HaoLian的人了

Objective for My Holiday

Everyone has 3 weeks holiday , I only have one .. Why ?

Because sendiri cari pasal involve in Welcoming Concert , Prom Night.

Yesterday's Prom Night was like..... like that la .. technical side a lot of problem , then that day they also very suay the electricity suddenly just cut off , betul betul potong steam..
And guess what , THEY NEED TO SHUT OFF THE AIR COND ! With the big spotlights at the back, super super hot !
Food was below average ..
Then a .. technical manager very new , they don't know how to control the volume , keep on hearing humming , very distracting.
But hey , I think most of them enjoy themselves , so OK la...

你们 High 不 High ????!!!!

超High !

I have been pushing myself quite hard this semester, quite a few interesting stuffs happen, end up with bad results..haha..
So time to have some rest for this holiday !

My Objective :

1. Wake up at 6 - 7 am every monrning
2. Sleep before 12 o clock every night
3. Do exercises everyday
4. Put on weight , Target : 65 kg
5. Cari old friends
6. Help my sister in getting A in Add Maths
7. Find good food
   

Haha..so basically I'm doing nothing at all for this holiday , that's my holiday..just wanna rest and have more rest.

So let see out of 7 , how much did I succeed .. haha

A Plan Without Planning - Raub

2 days ago , was in a dilemma whether to go for my friend's birthday party or not .. it wasn't really convenient for me since I need to return the car to my sister and I don't know how to go to their place..
Then suddenly heard my housemates - Wei Yang & Yafu ask me wanna go to Raub - (Pahang) or not .. I made my decision in 10 minutes time , and left to Raub 2 hours later.

Along the journey , it was SUPER DARK , there's very few cars , not much lamp post , IT WAS SO COOL MAN !! We were going uphill downhill , left turn right turn .

It's even more interesting than Need For Speed , more thrilling than Roller Coaster!!

Raub it's like Alor Gajah in Malacca . We went there not because of the food , and obviously not because of any shopping mall or any entertainment purposes. Just for your info , their largest shopping is like one gudang =.="

Wei Yang's neighbourhood

The thing that I really enjoy the most is the water here . The water there and PJ is totally different although the colour may seems similar .

The feeling when the water slides down from the top of the head to the tip of the toe is truly amazing.. It's hard to use words to describe , I'm not any novelist , you just have to feel it yourself .
It's very pure and clean , at least after I bath I don't feel sticky..haha..

The second is the air , Oh yes , the air you breath in is very clean .. It's been ages since I get to breath in this kind of clean air .

Wei Yang's parents cooked this for us .

If you think that this is just any plain chicken , then you are so wrong man !

This is actually a type of Musang , haha.. nvr try before le...

I personally like this small fishes alot .
Thank you for the wonderful dish !

Oh yeah , their Char Kue Teow there is really really nice , from one shorty uncle. And let me tell you , it's nicer than Penang Char Kue Teow !

Went to eat some Satays .. We ordered 25 sticks , let's make a guess , how much would this 25 sticks of satays cost ..

5 Rusa

5 Chicken
5 Daging
5 Kambing

I thought it will be like RM 10++ something like that..

Guess what ???


IT'S RM 25!!!

It is SUPER SUPER EXPENSIVE !!!

The feel was Okay , the salad was quite good , the drink sucks like hell....


One thing about Raub is , is a very small and ulu village . Wearing helmet when riding motor is consider Guilty !! That's so cool man..haha

Spend most of our time sleeping only , that's the place for us to rest ma.. Came back from Raub today

A Day without Air-Cond

I think I was spoilt because I have this air conditioner in my room in PJ.

PJ is so hot, or I should just say Malaysia is so hot, but with the POWER OF AIR-COND , everything can be solved !

It happen on one day , one day before my last exam paper - Business Accounting II .
My friend ask me to help the fella in Accounting and stay over at the place , I didn't really think much so just say Ok loe..

When I enter the room , Wow , I can feel as if I step into a new dimension , the heat suddenly just burst out , IT WAS SO HOT , and you know what ? It's 10 pm !! It's already night time , i can't imagine at this time there is some place so hot so dry.

I even woke up from my sleep in the middle of the night . Took the key and ride my motor, outside is so cooling !!

I ask my friend " You stay here for one year already , can tahan ar ? " "Can , why cannot ?? "

Whoa...I'm really impressed with the fella's perseverance level..

I think I should get myself used to ceiling fan and table fan ..
If not I'll suffer so much when I'm at Setapak~

Anyway , just a short update , at last finish my final exam , it was hectic , the exam period is more than 2 weeks time.
Didn't expect much from this exam this time , didn't think I have done well. But it's all over!

Now have to get busy with my Welcoming Concert event stuffs already.

Anyway, there is an upcoming event this friday .

How food affects your emotion

It has already been 2years I have been staying in PJ.

I guess most of you knows that I enjoy eating a lot , haha.. at least it will makes me feel happy..haha..
However, when I just come to this whole new place, PJ food to me suckx !

I stayed at 17/5 ( Near to the field of sec 17 ) , at that time I don't have any kind of transportation, plus I'm alien to this place , so wouldn't really dare to try everything out there. So at that time , I sticked to eating Rm 2.80 food everyday ! ( Now is already RM 3.60 )
Sounds very cheap la , Rm 2.80 , somemore you get to choose your own 4 kinds of food !

HOWEVER , you get to choose your own food , but you don't get the chance to pick your own food !
They give so freaking little, damn " gu han "( seems like guan han ) .
Somemore , these food really will spoilt your appetite , and guess what , I have been going to these shops for ONE YEAR, ONE WHOLE YEAR ..

You can imagine how my life in PJ for that one year.
Because of all these food , I feel as if I have been thrown into darkness , so sad so moody , makes me feel so geli when I think back of all these food.

And at that time , i make an assumption , PJ FOOD SUX ! 100 times Way suck-ier than Malacca food.



But hey , seems like I'm wrong again . On the other year , i have my own motor at here. At that time , my friend and I would always bring me to places with good food , and trust me , it was really good.

Sometimes the price may seems a bit expensive , but for a food like that , IT'S TOTALLY FINE !

I would like to try and list down the good food I have tried ( not in order ) together with the estimated price per person.

Plan to finish all the nice nice food at PJ before going to Setapak .
