H.W.C 2008 - Part 3

Write until sien already , last part..

6th day of camp , i think most people enjoy this day the most , because is the one and only chance we get to go out from the temple and went for outing. Went all the way to Taman Botanical Garden ( aka Taman Rekreasi ). Divide ourselves into 3 groups,1st group is to build the tallest gadget using straws , 2nd group is to build some gadgets using satay sticks , and 3rd group is to build a "bridge" to support heavy things with tooth picks . I'm glad to say that our group win everything .

Then we went DP for treasure hunt , divide ourselves into 7 groups . I was under the xiao po group - Soon Min Hui ( 十七岁 ), haha..really help us a lot in the treasure hunt. Maybe the urge to finish the treasure hunt , we were super fast and super smooth throughout the whole game. At last , my group won the 1st placing.. Maybe we were too happy at that time then Andrew went and ate the wasabi biscuits without Whee Ling's permission and me talking too much ( as usual ) , the whole group was punished to help some aunties to carry their stuffs..funny though..

Night time , fancy dress with the theme " hot wok crisp" , something to deal with fast food restaurant . So the participants dress themselves up like pizza , hot dogs , burgers , french fries , things like that you can think of . Out of 10 participants, there may be 3 human characters. I was one of the "HUMAN" character . Have to act out a sketch to introduce all 10 fellas , I was the main actor dressing up myself as a girl , call myself as "GUAN LING" , omg it was crazy man . Make up like a girl , dress like a girl , but never act like a girl..haha.. Thankx to Maggie for her dress.
The whole sketch is a bit lame , but ours were a bit better than Asoka.

And for the first time in the camp , we lead Asoka by 3 points.

Last day , the campfire day , SUPPOSINGLY the most exciting day..theme of the night " MALAM MALAYSIA " . There are 3 categories :
A - Dikir Barat
B - Traditional Dance
C - Wayang Kulit - I take part in this event as the narrator

Asoka did very well in Dikir Barat , I think is better than ours , but it was a BIG SURPRISE that we won them in Dikir Barat .

Our traditional dance is way better than the Asoka's , so it was expected to win them in this category , job well done !

Last category , wayang kulit , we did on the title " Journey to the West" . Just for your information , the one acting as Sun Wu Kong is not me , is Jeff Ho .

Crops i can't really remember , sorry a , i got very bad memory , but everyone did their part well !

I don't think our wayang kulit was good , there was a lot of mistakes , but luckily we manage to cover it well .
Asoka did it very well also , same time " Journey to the West" , crazy and funny..haha..thought we're going to lost also..mana tau..WON !

So for campfire night , MING TI SAPU KA LIAO , make us the winner of the year.

As usual , always after H.W.C , there will be new couples coming out .

And for Andrew , you must jia you a bit , don't need to scare of lesbians =P

What I can say about this camp is , I won't say i learn a lot of things from the camp since i have been participating for 3 years already , but i would say I really learn to analyze things a lot better this time and i can control my emotions a lot better this time.

I wouldn't say that the camp is a big success , but it was never a failure , everyone play their own role well , hope to see you all again !
